So, it’s a little after 11:30 PM and I’m downing my Nightly Nightcap when I flip to Channel 2 and they’re smack-dab in the middle of another “Hot” Police Pursuit. Hey, this calls for popcorn! Unfortunately, by the time my bag of microwave Pop-Secret Jumbo Pop w/ Butter is done ah, so is the pursuit!
Anyhow, I begin to flip channels again when I come to Channel 10 and stop! 
Hey, it was Mike Farrell. OK, I’d take Ol’ Mike over a hot police pursuit any day. So there was Ol’ Mike on this talk show speaking on behalf of dissemination of information and arguing against suppression of dissent concerning matters on the world stage. Huh?
And he actually said, with a straight face that the populace “ought to have information on both sides of the issue.” Now this comes from same guy who turned his back on the SAG membership and voted against a Minority Report which would have enabled them to get both sides of the issue when it came to Consolidation. Oh, yeah, and let’s not forget the recent commercials contract proposal! Apparently, Ol’ Mike is really concerned with the world stage, it’s just the stage SAG members occupy that he’s not too concerned about.
He also says very adamantly that challenging the administration doesn’t label the challenger as disloyal. Once again, he’s obviously talking about the, ah, World Stage. His deafening silence indicates that he doesn’t seem to have any problem with SAG President Melissa Gilbert labeling members who oppose Consolidation as being “Embedded Union Busters!”
Can you spell hypocrite? Here’s a hint! It starts with “M”
