And now here are the results of running the SAG Vote “Yes” Campaign material through the world famous Watchdog DeBunkulator!!
VOTE YES…
If you hate getting residual checks.
If you could care less how your voice and image are used.
If you are a senior and think producers shouldn’t have to pay you for internet play of TV shows you did prior to 1974 or features prior to 1971.
If you want to one day be told to ‘integrate’ the praises of the Neptune Society during your big death scene.
If you like producers new, self-serving “act of god provisions” Farce Majeure.
If you think series regulars ‘owed monies’ should be sacrificed as a bargaining chip for Chief Negotiator John McGuire to make a “deal" with the AMPTP.
If you hate cashing residual checks.
If you love the idea of consent of clips as a condition of employment.
If you accept producers propaganda that we should accept rollbacks, because of the poor economy, even thought they are experiencing record breaking box office returns.
If you are so healthy and rich, you’ll never need medical insurance or a pension.
And especially vote yes if you think the Screen Actors Guild should send a message to all actors of the world that doing NON-UNION work for union signatories is OKAY!
On the other hand, if you agree with SAG President Alan Rosenberg and the overwhelming majority of your Hollywood board that we can do better, then VOTE…
Speaking of the Vote YES campaign being run by the USAN New York and Branches "AMPTP First" board members with the help of their partners, the UFS “go-along-to-get-alongs” have you seen the vote 'yes' video? For a second there I thought I was watching excerpts from a “Law & Order” marathon. You can see it if you click the following link.

It’s called lying by omission, or ignorance. Oh, and if you believe that signing this employer's "wet dream" contract will get us "back to work," I got some Huston Rockets' playoff tickets I can let you have real cheap.
Anybody that bothers to follow what's going on knows the current slowdown ain't the result of the current stalemate but rather because banks ain't making loans, there are no Foreign prebuys, and runaway productions. Signing this contract ain't gonna get actors back to work now. But when they do get back to work, and this contract is in effect, actors will slowly realize that they have signed away their futures.
Oh, and although SAG has not announced the name of anyone that has signed their “Sign the TV/Theatrical statement of support,” the Ol’ Dog did manage to get the name of one signee.

Here is a letter the Ol’ Watchdog received that I thought I would share with you.
First off let me say that our union, the Screen Actors’ Guild, has been a major benefit in my life as an actor both on and off the screen. My statement here is for anyone who takes the time to read it and gets what I “feel” to be a Brother in such a Union.
I would have had a shorter life if not for the health benefits of our union for sure, and the support that was made available to me was priceless in that very serious time of my life. Knowing what I felt at that time has propelled me to write this, as I am feeling a need for all of us to understand what is happening with our Brotherhood.
The celebrity actors in our union that have gone to the media and put themselves on record with how our Brotherhood should be responding to the conglomerates have done nothing less than betray the card that they carry as a Brother. Instead of bringing their opinions which they have every right to have in our union, to the Brotherhood, they elected voluntarily to go outside our Brotherhood and voice their opinion to the very media that is owned by the congloms we are up against.
Doing so they have alienated the rest of us and basically have used their fortunate position in our business against the rest of their Brothers who work in the very same industry as they work..
Have they forgotten where they came from, or is it they just don’t care about the day to day blue collar actor who hustles each and everyday to stay focused and sharp for the possibility of exposing his or her talents to the world?
Can a group of these high profile artists be so callous that they are just interested in not seeing a work stoppage that may be the only way the American Actor can ever make a living in this day and age of new media?
Can it be that they think of themselves above and beyond the Brotherhood that they belong? In my opinion that is exactly what I see here, the attitude of artist who are acting like producers because that is what they have become. They don’t seem to understand that it was their membership in SAG that has actually placed them in such positions. So these celebrity actors bury that fact and pound their chest in pride and ego, after all it is their talent alone that has elevated them in the art, without any help from co-stars or fellow cast members who are the fodder to all the above the line stars.
Let the American Actor as we know it today fade away, so that the industry can refer to youtube to get their talent.
