The “go-along-to-get-alongs’ are continuing their campaign of parroting Producer Propaganda. In their latest email, they are reassuring you, that pittance of a Moveover residual is only supplemental to the network reruns. But is that the case?
Well, no one can ever be 100% certain what will happen. But they should keep their eyes and ears open, rather than burying their heads in the sand as New York’s USAN, and Hollywood UFS board members seem to be doing; This in their effort to make a deal; no matter how much SAG members may suffer for decades to come.
Well, if you'd kept your eyes and ears open, you’d have a pretty good indication of what the AMPTP plans to do in regards to Network Reruns. No, you ain’t gonna hear it from SAG’s Leadership, or from me. You will, instead, hear it from none other than News Corp COO, Peter Chernin.

Couldn’t be much clearer; The man, himself. has told you that network Moveovers “Should be seen as a replacement for broadcast Television reruns.".
No, wonder, employers are so adamant about their Final Offer formula for Moveovers; Two reruns on the Network for a day player cost them $1518 , And for a top of the show player two residuals would run them $6560.
When the 'Moveover' to the Internet replaces the network rerun, the employer can run that same show for up to 17/24 exhibition days, as many times as they want for FREE! And should the show not be burned out by then, they can run it as many times as they want for 26 more weeks for $22.77 then for the rest of the year for a grand total of $45 dollars. (The Max for the Top of the Show Player would be a little over a hundred bucks.)
Now, Danny, Tom, Meryl will get their deals up front, but, you tell me, how you, or any other SAG actor, who depends on residuals, the lifeblood of actors, can survive on those kinds of residuals, if you can call them that. Say bye-bye to your pension and health. Oh, and to the small or midrange agents whose only income comes from their commissions.
As to those USAN/UFS AMPTP surrogates, who are set to block your chance to vote on a strike referendum, I say “Supplement My Ass.”
